    BISMARK, Ark. (DeGray Lake Resort State Park) -- Eagles are here! DeGray Lake Resort State Park will host its 35th annual Eagles Et Cetera festival January 24-26, 2014. Outdoor enthusiasts can join a birding hike, take an eagle tour on beautiful DeGray Lake, or accompany a master falconer on a live falconry hunt. Guests will also be able to come in out of the cold and learn about a number of different conservation topics or just have some family fun at one of many indoor programs. Night owls can join a golf course safari or accompany a park interpreter on an exciting nighttime hike or boat ride. Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas will be back with several rehabilitated birds. The centerpiece of the celebration will be the Little Rock Zoo's amazing birds of prey presentation featuring Lynn, the American bald eagle.     New to the lineup this year, will be a rare opportunity to come face to face with live bats and learn all about the challenges and conservation efforts they face. These cool flying mammals come all the way from Illinois by way of bat-educators Sharon and Dan Peterson. New games and crafts have been added to the activities room for families to enjoy together and more eagle tours have been added to the schedule so there will be plenty of opportunities to see eagles in their element.

    All programs will be free except boat based tours, golf course safaris, and select crafts. Boat tours are $9 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under 6. A limited number of reservations for eagle tours are available now. All remaining reservations for Friday's activities, including the falconry hunt, owl adventure boat tour, and golf course safari will be available Thursday, January 23th at noon. Registration for all remaining tours and the Saturday golf course safari begins Friday, January 24th at noon. Please dress warmly for outdoor tours, especially lake tours.
