    The surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect suffered multiple gunshot wounds including one to the face, a skull fracture, and various other injuries when he was captured hiding in a boat in a Watertown backyard, according to a doctor who treated him.

    A suspect was taken into custody Tuesday night after two unattended backpacks were found at the Boston Marathon finish line on the anniversary of the bombing, police said. Witnesses said a man was seen walking the streets barefoot, wearing a black veil and screaming "Boston Strong."
