Austin Police Chief John Staley received a tip about marijuana plants behind a house on Sunset Circle in Cabot on July 6.

He and Lonoke County sheriff's investigators found 17 marijuana plants. They then obtained a search warrant for the home and found about a pound of marijuana, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, two plastic bags containing prescription medication in the form of Percocet, and Oxycodone. The bags were marked with prices per pill.

In another room, they found handguns, shotguns, rifles, and flat screen TVs. Six of the guns had been reported stolen. One of the flat screen TVs and four of the firearms were stolen during a residential burglary in the Butlerville area. One of the handguns was reported stolen by the Beebe Police Department.

Lonoke County Sheriff Jim Roberson says they are still in the process of identifying the owners of the property that was seized, and an arrest warrant is being obtained for the resident and individuals involved.
