LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Severe storms are pushing through parts of Arkansas, bringing heavy rainfall and high winds to some areas.

No injuries have been reported, but damage was reported at the Corning Municipal Airport in Clay County. It wasn't immediately known whether a tornado or high winds caused damage to the building and airplanes.

The National Weather Service issued severe thunderstorm warnings for parts of central Arkansas Saturday afternoon and a handful of tornado warnings in extreme northeastern Arkansas.

The National Weather Service says many areas saw downed trees because of the storms.
