LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) Surveyors with the National Weather Service say no tornado damage was identified between Des Arc and Cotton Plant. John Robinson says they've even checked the area about 4 miles west-northwest of Des Arc where radar indicated a Tornado Vortex Signature. No tornado damage was seen there, either.
Strong winds are to blame for large limbs falling on a mobile home and causing damage to the roof.
Arkansas Department of Emergency Management spokesman Tommy Jackson says several counties saw damage from Saturday's storms, but there weren't any reports of injuries.
Jackson says a few hangers were damaged at the Corning Municipal Airport in Clay County. Many areas also saw downed trees because of the storms.
A tree also toppled onto a house in Benton. Nobody in the house was injured.
