LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 6, 2012) - In April of this year, Nashville country artist Scott Carey picked Little Rock as the backdrop to film the music video for his song "Heroes' Highway".

The song is a tribute to his cousin, Robert Sanchez, who was an army ranger KIA in Afghanistan in 2009. The Little Rock community came together to create the video, with extensive military participation.

While Scott was in town, he made an apperance on 'THV This Morning Saturday' to perform an acoustic version of "Smile".

Now he's back in Little Rock for the "Heroes' Highway" video release party at West End Smokehouse today, October 6. Scott will also perform live with local band, Third Degree. The public is invited.

West End Smokehouse is located at 215 N. Shackleford in Little Rock.

THV's Meredith Mitchell sat down with Scott to learn more about the inspiration behind this music video. Click on the THVideo!

And if you can't make the event, you can watch the music video online starting tomorrow on Scott's website.
