NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 13, 2012) - The Ozark Chapter of the Porsche Club of America hosts their annual Porsche Car Show today Saturday, October 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Firestone Store at McCain Mall in North Little Rock.
Porsche owners are invited to bring out their pride and joy for everyone to see. Registration is from 9-10 a.m. The public will be able to vote on their favorite car.
There will be a raffle, health screenings, lunch and more. Admission is free but donations will be accepted.
Proceeds raised will benefit the central Arkansas chapter of the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
"One thing the American Diabetes Association does each year is send 55 kids with diabetes to camp and it costs us about six-hundred dollars per child to send to camp," explains Rick Selig, director of the ADA. "To help us with the cost of that, the Porsche Car Club puts on this car show."
Currently there are 25.8 million Americans suffering with diabetes, including approximately 250,000 Arkansans.
