LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - A man is under arrest in connection to hit and run accident that happened in August.
Arkansas State Police say they have Robert Lee Glover Jr., 50, of Carlisle, under arrest and charged with Failure to Stop After Accident with Injury or Death for the August 24 accident that killed Kimberly Perkins.
Perkins, 39, was apparently attempting to flag down traffic to ask for assistance after the vehicle in which she was a passenger ran out of gas.
Perkins was struck on U.S. Highway 70 near Cypress Creek Road about 9:40 p.m., five miles west of Lonoke. The driver of the vehicle that struck Perkins left the scene.
