Teen car theft suspect arrested in NLR

    NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - North Little Rock Police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with an aggravated robbery.

    According to police, a woman's 2012 Hyundai was stolen from her at 614 President Clinton Avenue in downtown Little Rock, and a 17-year-old was later arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated robbery and theft of property on warrants out of North Little Rock and placed in the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility.

    Police told THV 11 that the woman was sitting in her car when the teen approached her and asked to barrow her cell phone. Soon after, he then pointed a black handgun at her and demanded to her exit her car.

    The teen then fled the area and was later found by North Little Rock Police at Atkins Street and Protho Street.
