ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (HSU) -- Henderson State's Kevin Rodgers and Maxie Graham earned First-Team Daktronics Super Region honors.
Rodgers, a national finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy, finished his sophomore season with 4,002 yards and 41 touchdowns.
The Rockwall, Texas native claimed six Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week awards and unanimously claimed the Offensive Player of the Year honors.
Henderson State led the country in scoring offense and ranked third in the nation in passing offense and total offense.
Graham led the conference in total tackles with 115 stops for an average of 10.45 tackles per game.
The senior from Jackson, Miss. added 10.0 tackles for lost yardage. His 10.45 tackles per game ranked 19th nationally.
Earning second team honors were linemen Kelton Hays and Cherokee Streetman. Both Hays and Streetman earned first-team All-GAC honors earlier this season.
First team all-region honorees are now eligible for the Daktronics, Inc. Division II Football All-American Team. The announcement of those All-American teams is expected on December 11th, preceding the NCAA Division II Football Championship, which takes place Dec. 15 in Florence, Ala.
