WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (KTHV) - 20 people are behind bars tonight after a major drug trafficking sting in West Memphis.
Investigators said those arrested in Operation Delta Crossroads are regional distributors.
Most of them are from Crittenden County and charged with drug conspiracy and firearms offenses.
Police recovered more than 500 grams of cocaine and 28 grams of crack cocaine.
They also seized several weapons during the arrests.
"Many of the people we arrested today have extensive felony records consisting of violent crimes, including murders and aggravated assaults," said Christopher Thyer, U.S. attorney.
Investigators said to expect more arrests in this case.
As for those arrested today, they'll stand before a judge in court tomorrow.
