White County Sheriff's deputies says the investigation is slowly unraveling what happened, but can't give the public many details right now because it's an ongoing investigation. Deputies say when they responded to shots fired, they found two victims.
This quaint Shady Grove subdivision sign reads "Where Friendly People Live." White County sheriff's deputies say this quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Searcy remained crime-free until 9:45 a.m. Friday when deputies responded to a call of shots fired.
Chief Deputy Jeremy Clark explains, "We responded and we did have a 40-year-old female identified as Audra Evans and a 41-year-old male, his name is Robin Edward Berry."
Clark says both victims were pronounced dead at the hospital and there are still more questions than answers in the connection between them, the homeowner Mark Sullivan and a fourth person in the home.
Clark continues, "This is the residence of Mark Sullivan and he was here when we arrived. We had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for terroristic threatening. He was taken into custody for the warrants and is currently being held at the White County Detention Center."
Investigators say both Sullivan and his acquaintance remained people of interest throughout the day and by Friday evening Sullivan had been charged with two counts of 1st degree murder. His bond is set at $750,000.
Clark adds, "Our crime scene investigators are inside trying to piece together exactly what happened."
Clark says details of a weapon, motive and everyone's relationship are still under investigation and he's hopeful all the details will be revealed soon. He concludes, "Any investigation is a puzzle and there are pieces left behind so we're putting the pieces together right now and when we're done there will be a picture painted that will tell the whole story."
The details of Sullivan's outstanding warrant for terroristic threatening were not available. The fourth person has not been named or charged at this time. Sullivan will go before a judge Monday.

Couple fatally shot at White County, Arkansas home
Authorities in White County say a man has been arrested on an outstanding warrant after a man and a woman were found fatally shot in the arrested man's garage.
Sgt. Greg Coney, a spokesman for the White County sheriff's office, said the shootings occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Friday. He identified the victims as 40-year-old Audra Evans and her 41-year-old boyfriend, Robert Edward Berry.
The home where the shootings occurred, the residence of 38-year-old Mark Sullivan, is in a rural area 15 to 20 miles northwest of Searcy, Coney said. Sullivan was either the former boyfriend or former husband of Evans, Coney said.
Sullivan was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant accusing him of terroristic threatening and questioned about the shootings, Coney said.
