Here are some places to take the kids, but please make sure you call or check their Web sites for updated prices and times in case they have changed. Plus, join the conversation on MomsLikeMe.com with your ideas.

The Arkansas Skatium has both roller and ice skating. Plus, they have Moms and Tot Days once a month until May. It's the 3rd Friday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. You can bring anything on wheels for them to ride: bicycles, scooters, skates, skateboards, wagons, Big Wheels, whatever! The cost is $4 per child and moms get in free and their skate rental is free also.

    Arkansas Skatium additional information:

    1131 Bowman Road, LR, 227-4333

Public skating times throughout the week, including Saturdays 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Sundays 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Kids under 5 skate free with one paid admission.

Jump!Zone is a great place to bring the kids so they can jump, play and use all that energy they have to have a great time. They have two locations, one in North Little Rock and one in Conway.

Open Play is Tuesday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Thursday and Sunday 5 - 8 p.m. Admission is $7 per child. Children under 2 get in free.

Little Rock Climbing Center has family climb time and is not only great exercise, it's a lot of fun. They change up the climbing wall often, so even if you go regularly, you're going to have a new experience.

Family Climb Time every Sunday from noon - 8 p.m. Passes, gear rental and belay lessons for two adults and two children is $60.

The Wonder Place is for kids 8 and under. We had a MomsLikeMe playdate there and everyone had a blast. There's a River Market area, playhouse, water play and puppet show area, just to name a few creative playspaces there.

Millennium Bowl is great fun for every age. A cool feature they have is that you can set the bumpers to pop up when the child has their turn. Adults may want to use this feature as well!
