    5 things to do this weekend in Arkansas

    UNDATED, (KTHV) -- THV 11 News is always working to make your life easier! So, we've compiled five ideas to do with the family this weekend.

    #1. Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert: Get lost tonight in the Christmas magic of the Trans Siberan Orchestra.The album 'The Lost Christmas Eve' will be performed in its entirety and will feature the hit single such as Wizards in Winter, as well as longtime crowd favorites. It will be followed by brand new songs. The concert starts at 8 p.m. at Verizon Arena and tickets are still available.

    #2. Gingerbread Village at Capital Hotel:  At Little Rock's Capital Hotel on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon, kids and parents can craft gingerbread houses under the instruction of Pastry Chef Tandra Watkins. Tickets are 59 dollars. And while you're there, you can also see the Hotel's Gingerbread Village display. It has 100 handmade pine trees dotting a sugar coated winter wonderland scene filled with farms, snow forts and wildlife. Wildwood's Holiday Tour of HomesDiscover holiday inspiration and tour some of Little Rock's finest homes in Little Rock and North Little Rock during Wildwood Park for the Arts' annual holiday celebration. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, participants will travel to five fabulously decorated homes throughout Little Rock, decked out for the holidays with help from local designers. Guests will also be able to see the decor at the Arkansas State Capitol, including the Christmas exhibit made of Lego blocks. Proceeds benefit Wildwood Park for the Arts.

    #4. Holly Trolley Day: The Central Arkansas Transit Authority will be hosting the 2nd Annual Holly Trolley Day this Saturday. This event allows families to take free trolley rides all day from 8:30 a.m. to midnight. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making an appearance and will be available for photo opportunities. Hot chocolate or apple cider will be provided to those to attend. Also don't miss live music from Michael Eubanks from noon to 2 p.m.

    #5. The Nutcracker: Ballet Arkansas will ring in the holidays with Tchaikovsky's magical The Nutcracker performed by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. With enchanting costumes and original choreography, the tradition of the Nutcracker will create unforgettable memories for children of every generation. There are performances all weekend and tickets range from $20 - 45.
