(KTHV) UNDATED -- At THV 11, we're always looking to make your life easier. With it being Friday, we've once again found five things for you to do with the family this weekend.

#1. Jazz at Wildwood Park -- Ellis Marsalis, the Father of America's First Family of Jazz & his Quartet will be performing tonight at Wildwood Park for the Arts. The Louisiana native has been recognized with his work with various awards. Marsalis started  out as a tenor saxophonist and switched to piano in high school. Over the last several decades, he's been a major influence in jazz. The program starts at 8 p.m. For ticket prices, click here.

#2. Painting For a Good Cause -- Painting with a Twist will paint with a purpose this weekend. This event will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Saline County with the proceeds going to end poverty housing in the county. It costs $35 dollars and runs from 2-4 p.m. at their North Little Rock location.

#3. Earth Day Festival -- Families can enjoy green activities such as gardening and rock climbing on Saturday from 11-5. Other fun attractions include tie-dying and other crafts. Organizers say the event promotes sustainability for every day of the year. The event is free and features live music, food and friendly animals from the Heifer Ranch.

#4. Central Arkansas 5K Heart Walk -- You can get fit and help a good cause at the Central Arkansas 5K Heart Walk at Burns Park in North Little Rock, highlighting physical fitness for people of all ages. It's also a fundraiser for the American Heart Association by raising critical dollars for those suffering from heart disease and stroke. The walk starts Saturday morning at 9.

#5. Stardaze in Star City -- The 10th annual StarDaze festival starts today and runs through Saturday in Star City. The fun features arts and crafts from Arkansas and surrounding states. There were more than 80 vendors in 2012.
