Pancake fundraiser to support Roller Derby on Jan. 11

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Central Arkansas Roller Derby) -- On Saturday, Jan. 11, derby girls will batter up to support their league with a flapjack fundraiser breakfast at Applebee's. A breakfast of short stacks will be served by derby girls from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.at the 12110 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock location.

    Tickets are $7 per person and include pancakes and a beverage such as coffee, soda, milk, juice or tea.

    Members of Central Arkansas Roller Derby take pride in supporting the community throughout the season by volunteering their time and a portion of the bout's proceeds to organizations like Pulaski County Humane Society, Our House, the American Heart Association, Komen Arkansas and many, many more.

    The next bout will be 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Access Schools. Bout will be held at Skate World, 6512 Mabelvale Cut Off in Little Rock.
