Philly cheesesteak with a twist

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Anthony Michael with the Cross-Eyed Pig stopped by "THV 11 This Morning" to share a Philly cheesesteak recipe with a twist.

    Anthony used deer meat, specifically elk, to make his cheesesteak.

    Couple pounds of steak (or any kind of red meat)
    1 onion sliced
    1 green pepper sliced
    Cheez-wiz OR provolone cheese
    French bread rolls

    1. Slice up beef into thin two inch strips. Cook in skillet with 1 tbsp. oil until desired doneness.
    2. Add an additional 1 tspn oil and sauté onion and pepper.
    3. Combine all three onto a French roll. Add either cheese you prefer.
