Events in December at Arkansas nature centers

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Throughout the month of December there's going to be lots of events at the Game and Fish Commission's nature centers around the state. From archery, to camping, and even pictures with Santa, there's something for the whole family.

    Below you'll find a list of events with links for more information.

    Central Arkansas Center
    December 8th: Wetland Walk-a-bout
    December 14th: Encounter an Eagle
    December 15th: Tim Ernst Wilderness photographer

    Delta Rivers Center
    December 7: Beginning archery (10-noon)
    December 7: Photos with Santa (1-3 pm)

    Cook's Lake Center
    December 7-8: Deer hunt for mobility impaired individuals
    December 14: Black bears workshop (10am-2pm)

    River Valley Center
    December 13: Venomous snakes workshop (6pm)
    December 17: Beginning fly fishing (6pm)
    Weekly: Animal feedings, guided hikes, archery
