ARKADELPHIA, Ark (Henderson St.) - Henderson State posted a team score of 925 to finish in seventh place out of 16 teams at the Northeastern State Golf Classic in Broken Arrow, Okla.
The Reddies opened the 54-hole event with totals of 309 and 306 on Monday and finished with a team score of 310 on Tuesday.
Matt Jennings led the Reddies finishing with a three-round total of 224 to place eighth. Jennings posted rounds of 75 and 74 on day one, and turned in a score of 75 for the final round.
Joseph Hausberger ended in 20th-place, carding rounds of 75, 74, and 80 for a 229 total, while Gil Debusscher tied for 42nd with a 235 total after having scores of 81, 78, and 76.
Price Murphee shot a final round 79, after having scores of 81 and 80 on the first day to finish in 59th-place.
Wess Webb began the tournament with scores of 78 and 81, but posted a score of 85 for a 244 total to finish 67th out of 89 competitors.Central Missouri won the event with a team total of 897, followed by Northeastern State (904) and Central Oklahoma (913).
Southeastern Oklahoma was the top school from the Great American Conference finishing in fourth-place (916) while Arkansas Tech finished two strokes behind the Storm in fifth-place.
Other GAC schools participating in the event include Harding which finished eighth (928), followed by Southwestern Oklahoma in ninth (930), East Central and Southern Nazarene tying for 12th (942) and Ouachita Baptist in 15th (963).
