"The University of Central Arkansas athletics department regrets the incident that occurred during Wednesday night's baseball game between the Bears and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Trojans at Bear Stadium. We realize there is no place in collegiate athletics for such an incident.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Southland Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year will reside in Conway. And, for the first time since 2010, so will the Freshman of the Year.

The Bears grabbed a point in doubles play before securing the win by defeating the Skyhawks in four of the six singles matches to earn a 5-2 victory and improve to 2-2 on the season.
