FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Univ. of Ark.) - University of Arkansas women's head coach Lance Harter has announced the Razorbacks' schedule for the upcoming 2013 season.

Along with 11 home meets, Arkansas will play host to the SEC and NCAA Indoor Championships. The Razorbacks' schedule will also feature four scored meets, all contested in Fayetteville. Arkansas' home indoor meets will be contested at the Randal Tyson Track Center while the outdoor meets will be held at John McDonnell Field.

Arkansas and the Randal Tyson Track Center will host the SEC Indoor Championships for the seventh time, previously hosting the meet in 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2011. The indoor conference meet will be contested Feb. 22-24.

Two weeks later, the Razorbacks will increase their national hosting duties to 11 with the NCAA Indoor Championships. The nation's best will compete March 8-9, in Fayetteville. Arkansas most recently hosted the national indoor meet during the 2010 season.

The Razorbacks open their 2013 campaign with an indoor dual meet with Oklahoma State in Fayetteville. The season opener is set for Jan. 11. Arkansas will close out the month with the two-day Razorback Team Invitational, the team's second scored competition of the season. One of the premier events of the season, last year's indoor Razorback meet featured nine ranked teams.

Arkansas' scored events carry over into the outdoor season with the April 12-13 John McDonnell Invitational and the single-day Arkansas Invitational on April 27. Among other possible entries, the latter is scheduled to include the teams from Florida and Central Florida.

The rest of Arkansas' indoor schedule will include the Texas A&M Triangular (Jan. 19) in College Station, Texas; New Balance Invitational (Feb. 1-2) in New York, N.Y.; Tyson Invitational (Feb. 8-9) in Fayetteville; Husky Classic (Feb. 8-9) in Seattle, Wash.; Arkansas Final Qualifier (March 1) in Fayetteville; and Alex Wilson Invitational (March 1-2) in South Bend, Ind.

The Texas A&M Triangular will be a head-to-head competition between conference mates with Arkansas, LSU and the host Aggies at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium.

The Razorbacks begin their outdoor slate with three consecutive road meets, competing at the TCU Invitational (March 15-16) in Ft. Worth, Texas; Texas Relays (March 27-30) in Austin, Texas; and Stanford Invitational (March 29-30) in Palo Alto, Calif. Arkansas' first home outdoor meet will be the Razorback Spring Invitational (March 30) in Fayetteville.

The following weekend (April 5-6), the Razorbacks will split its squad between the John McDonnell Combined Events in Fayetteville and the Sun Angel Classic in Tempe, Ariz. The outdoor schedule is filled out with the Mt. SAC Relays (April 18-20) in Walnut, Calif.; Michael Johnson Classic (April 20) in Waco, Texas; Payton Jordan Invitational (April 28) in Palo Alto, Calif; and the Arkansas Twilight (May 3) in Fayetteville.

The outdoor championship season will begin May 9-12 with the SEC Championships in Columbia, Mo. With spots in the national meet on the line, the Razorbacks will then compete May 23-25 at the NCAA West Preliminary in Austin, Texas. The 2013 collegiate season will conclude June 5-8 with a trip to Eugene, Ore., for the NCAA Championships.
