LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - When you think about new recruits, a couple of possible future Hogs come to mind like a couple of senior high school players named Hunter Henry and Altee Tenpenny.

Running laps and lifting weights is paying off for North Little Rock High School running back Altee Tenpenny.

"I look forward to meeting him and going down to take my official visit and just have me and my family sit down and talk to him," said Tenpenny.

Next month, Tenpenny will meet face to face with new head coach Bret Bielema about playing for the Razorbacks. The running back verbally committed to Alabama, but with a new coach on the hill Tenpenny's agreement is not set in stone.

"I'm going down there, just to see how everything is, see how well me and him communicate and see how he gets the program to rally behind him," said Tenpenny.

The running back is a top pick, according to many recruiting sites.

"My phone's been blowing up lately, but I try not to think about it. I try not to give myself a big head," he explained.

One of those missed calls has an Alabama area code.

"I do have a call from my recruiting coach. I haven't gotten to talk to him because I have been busy between training and work, but I'll make sure to give him a call," explained Tenpenny.

Tenpenny is open to both schools before he makes his final decision.

"I didn't get to watch much while he was coaching in Wisconsin, but I did see a couple of clips where he ran some single back, and I mean I like that type of stuff. Of course you don't want to go to a school when you are a running back, and a new coach brings in a spread offense so for them to get a coach that likes to run the ball is a plus."

THV 11 also spoke with Hunter Henry's mom on the phone today. Henry is a top ranked tight end at Pulaski Academy.

His mom said her son committed to Arkansas back in July, and they haven't made any changes, but he is looking at all his options so he can find the best fit for him.

While they haven't heard from Coach Bielema yet, they look forward to meeting him. They'll make a formal decision after that.
