FAYETTEVILLE, Arki. (KTHV) -- THV 11's Craig O'Neill sits down with Jim Harris of Sporting Life Arkansas to talk about Arkansas getting "snubbed" by the NIT.

Arkansas will watch the postseason from home once again this year.

The Hogs expected an NIT (National Invitation Tournament) bid but none came following Sunday night's NIT selection show.

Only three SEC teams (Florida, Missouri and Ole Miss) made the NCAA tourney. That meant more SEC teams would be, and are, headed to the NIT thus diminishing the Hogs' chances at an NIT bid.

There's still a chance for Arkansas to accept a bid to the CBI. However, that's a pay-to-play event and may not be something the school is willing to do.
