    Grable No. 1, Team No. 10 In Latest National Rankings

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Univ. of Ark.) - Senior All-American Katherine Grable is featured as the No. 1 overall gymnast in the country as the University of Arkansas gymnastics team remains in the No. 10 spot in the Gyminfo rankings this week.

    Grable scored a 39.525 in the all-around competition in a win at Missouri to earn the top spot in the country in the all-around. This is the second time in Grable's career that she has held the No. 1 ranking. The first came in 2012 when she was ranked No. 1 for two weeks in a row (Feb. 27, March 5). Grable is also the first gymnast in program history to hold a No. 1 ranking in the all-around, her 2012 teammates, Jaime Pisani reached the top spot on the floor and all-around and Mariah Howdeshell reached the top spot on the bars.

    The Razorbacks scored a 196.050 to hold onto the No. 10 spot in the nation after beating conference foe Missouri with a 194.650.

    In the event rankings, the Razorbacks are for No. 15 on the vault, tied for 8th on the bars, 6th on the beam and tied for 19th on the floor.

    In the individual rankings, Grable stands at the No. 17 spot on the vault, 22nd on bars, 9th on beam and 10th on floor.

    Freshman Amanda Wellick scored a 39.050 in the all-around at Missouri to bring her average to a 39.175 on the season and earn herself the No. 21 overall gymnast in the country.

    Also in the individual rankings, senior Shelby Salmon is tied for the No. 14 spot on the bars and sophomore Sydnie Dillard is No. 8 on the beam.

    The Razorbacks return to action traveling to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to compete in the squad's second road conference Pink meet against No. 7 Alabama. The meet is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
