FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Univ. of Ark) - Omar McLeod has been named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week for the second-consecutive week. McLeod helped the No. 1 Razorbacks defeat No. 15 Texas Friday at the Arkansas vs. Texas Dual.

The freshman is now 5-for-5 this season, earning all five event titles to start his collegiate career. He won the 200-meter dash on Friday night at the Randal Tyson Track Center against No. 15 Texas with a time of 21.09, ranking among the top-12 athletes nationally. His time of 7.76 was good for the 60-meter title, which beat his time from last week and ranks him fourth nationally. His 60-meter hurdle time also leads the SEC and is third all-time at Arkansas.

McLeod and the Razorbacks will be back in action Friday, January 31 as Arkansas hosts the Razorback Invitational at Randal Tyson Track Center.
