    The No. 24 Arkansas baseball team (21-13) raced out to an early lead Wednesday evening and picked up a 9-2 victory over No. 17 UNLV (23-10) at Baum Stadium.

    Navarro Named Co-SEC Player of the Week

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Univ. of Ark.) - On the heels of a standout effort at the plate and in the field, senior Clarisa Navarro has been named the Co-SEC Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday afternoon. The La Joya, Texas, native hit for a .588 batting average in six games to help lead the Razorback offense and push the team to its current 11-game winning streak. This is the first SEC weekly honor of Navarro's career.

    Comeback at FGCU Pushes Win Streak to 10

    FT. MYERS, Fla. (Univ. of Ark.) - Coupled with a 12-0 victory Saturday morning over Villanova, the University of Arkansas softball team used a comeback against host FGCU to complete an undefeated day two at the FGCU/Four Points by Sheraton Round Robin. The Razorbacks posted a 14-7 win over the Eagles in the team's final game of the day. With Saturday's results, Arkansas extends its winning streak to 10 games and improves to 12-3 on the season. The Razorbacks close out their weekend Sunday morning with one game, a 10:15 a.m. (CT) matchup with Harvard. It will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
