LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM) is reminding citizens of the potential danger broken limbs and weakened trees from the Christmas Day snow storm could pose during tonight's expected severe weather.

That storm left tons of debris in its path last month, but it also left broken limbs still dangling from trees and trees that were weakened and could fall these are a concern with the state in the crosshairs tonight for a moderate risk of severe weather.

ADEM is reminding persons with damaged limbs on their property to be ever mindful of the risk they can be to persons, residences, and vehicles. A related situation that also could occur is the possibility of power outages should these limbs fall onto power lines.
